DAY/NIGHT
SENSOR
The
SLEDB-110V-DNS-20C day/night sensor
operates like a standard on/off
light switch. The circuit is normally open when
light
is present. Once
darkness
is
detected, the internal switch changes to a closed circuit, allowing voltage to pass
through the sensor and power the device(s) at the other end.
The sensor is an active
day/night
detector. The sensor detects the change in
ambient light
.
When the appropriate level of darkness is detected the light is
turned on. The sensor is also equipped with a test shield, allowing operators to
override the sensor to ensure its functioning properly.
