LEARNING MODE PROCEDURE
Note:
The controller included with this product was initialized at the factory to communicate with the
searchlight. It is not necessary to conduct this procedure unless adding or replacing a controller.
1.
Disconnect battery power to the searchlight.
2.
Disconnect power to the transmitter.
3.
Re
‐
connect power to transmitter.
4.
Press and hold the
“on/off” button and the left directional arrow on the controller while reconnecting
power to the searchlight. The searchlight will turn
“on” within (2) seconds.
5.
Code synchronization is complete.
LEARNING ADDITIONAL CONTROLLERS TO THE UNIT

200 can support up to (4) separate controllers. Each time a controller is added to the system, or is
replaced; all controllers require re
‐
initialization using the above procedure. Power to the searchlight must be
disconnected then reconnected while pressing the controllers “on/off” button for each controller added.
CLEANING OF EXTERIOR SURFACES
Recommendation for cleaning exterior surfaces is a solution of warm water and a mild detergent soap.
CAUTION
Do not use cleaners that contain esters, halogenated solvents, aromatic solvents, ketones and
strong acids or bases.
CAUTION
Burn Hazard. Do not touch lens when light is
“on”.
SERVICE & MAINTENANCE
The RCL 200 Searchlight carries a one year warranty starting from the date of purchase. Any defects within
this first year will be handled by Larson Electronics and repaired at no charge to the customer. For service and
defects beyond the one year warranty period, please contact Larson Electronics
‐
Magnalight for information
and pricing on service replacement parts. Due to the complexity of this product all servicing and parts
replacement will be carried out at the factory or a recognized service center.
WARNING:
ELECTRICAL POWER SUPPLY MUST BE “OFF” BEFORE AND DURING INSTALLATION AND
MAINTENANCE. INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE PROCEDURE MUST BE PERFORMED BY A
TRAINED AND COMPETENT ELECTRICIAN.
1.
Inspect all contact wire terminals for tightness. Discoloration due to excessive heat is an indicator of a
possible problem and should be thoroughly investigated and repaired as necessary.
2.
Inspect contacts for signs of wear and replace if necessary.
3.
Clean exterior surfaces making sure nameplates remain legible.
If any part of the light appears to be missing, broken, or show signs of damage
—discontinue use immediately!
This condition could cause serious or fatal personal injury due to electrocution and/or equipment damage.
Repair with the proper replacement part(s) before continuing service.
