Place the mount on your truck and adjust both aluminum tap squares against the back
side of the truck housing. They should be placed in a way to hold the plate against the
truck when tightened. Make sure all taillight holes are aligned and tighten the bottom two
screws to secure to truck.
7.
Once the tap squares are tightened, reattach the
taillight assembly to the truck. Place the brake light
housing up against your truck and replace the 2
screws to hold it back in place.
Be careful not to over tighten these screws to
prevent damage to the bolts and/or your truck.
However, ensure that the screws used to compress
the gasket are evenly tightened. Uniformly sealing
the plate to the truck and firmly compressing all
areas of the gasket.
Note:
If a screw won’t get tight, realign the mount by loosening
the screws. Make sure the holes line up and retighten the two
Phillips screws holding the mount and taps in place.
Complete!
Your new mount is now installed!
