The LEDB-8 High Intensity Strobe Warning Light is ideal for warning and safety systems in industrial work sites. This IP66-rated unit
provides 300 effective candelas, with a flash rate of 80-90 per minute. Equipped with a polycarbonate lens, the compact fixture is
compatible with pipe and surface mounting preferences. The strobe lamp is available in the following colors: Red, Amber, Blue, White,
and Green.
REMOVE POWER AND WAIT 10 MINUTES BEFORE SERVICING THIS UNIT.
Voltages of up to 600VDC are generated within this strobe light. Service by authorized personnel only.
After unpacking the strobe light, examine it for damage that may have occurred in shipping. If the strobe has been damaged, do not
attempt to install or operate it. File a claim immediately with the carrier stating the extent of the damage. Carefully check all envelopes,
shipping labels, and tags before removing or destroying them.
Carefully check the contents of the shipping package and verify that you have received the correct model strobe light and any additional
mounting, lens blackout, dust cover, or guard options you may have ordered.
INSTALLATION
Using suitable hardware and techniques, securely mount the strobe light in the desired location. Hardware and mounting details are left
to the discretion of the installer. This strobe light features a sturdy base with a 1/2" NPT hub for pipe mounting applications.
Alternatively, three holes are available for surface mounting configurations.
IN ALL CASES ENSURE THAT ALL MECHANICAL AND
ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION TECHNIQUES COMPLY WITH NATIONAL CODES, LOCAL CODES, AND ANY COMPANY
REQUIREMENTS.
MAKE SURE THAT THE POWER SOURCE IS DEACTIVATED.
The -110 strobe lights are designed to operate on a standard
120VAC, 15 AMP power circuit. These strobes will perform within specifications over a 100VAC to 150VAC range. Refer to the wiring
diagram and use 14AWG wire minimum to connect the strobe light power leads to the power source protected by a suitable over-
current protection device.
The -240 strobe lights are designed to operate on a standard 240VAC, 15 AMP power circuit. These strobes will perform within
specifications over a 185VAC to 265VAC range. Refer to the wiring diagram and use 14AWG wire minimum to connect the strobe light
power leads to the power source protected by a suitable over-current protection device.
STEP 4 -
Once you have mounted the strobe, and wired the input wires to the deactivated power source, you may reactivate the power
source. With power applied the strobe light should begin operation immediately.
