WIRING
Warning:
Check product label for correct input voltage!
Attach supply line wires to the appropriate light fixture wires as shown
in the diagram
Secure each pair of wires according to the diagram. Utilize a junction box or
similar device and take precautionary steps for weatherproofing all
connections if installed in a location where water may come in contact with the
unit. Ensure the unit is properly grounded and that wiring is done according to
all local and national electrical/building codes.
Standard Cord Cap
This unit comes pre-wired from factory with the selected cord cap. Take
precautionary steps for weatherproofing all connections if installed in a
location where water may come in contact with the unit. All outdoor
installations and indoor installations near a wet location require the use of a
GFCI device for safety, according to the National Electrical Code® (NEC).
Ensure the unit is properly grounded.
This low profile industrial LED light fixture is equipped with 2.5 feet of 16/2 straight cord between the spotlight and the on/off
dimmer switch, 20 feet of 16/3 chemical and abrasion resistant SOOW cord between the switch and transformer, and 5 feet
of 16/3 cord extending from the transformer that is fitted with an industrial grade cord cap for easy connection to common
wall outlets. Plug options include standard 5-15 15 amp straight blade plug for 110 V wall outlets with ground, standard
5-20 20 amp straight blade plug for 110 V wall outlets with ground, standard 6-15 15 amp straight blade plug for 220-240 V
wall outlets with ground, standard 6-20 20 amp straight blade plug for 220-240 V wall outlets with ground, NEMA L5-15 15
amp twist lock plug for 125V twist lock outlets, NEMA L5-20 20 amp twist lock plug for 125 V twist lock outlets, NEMA L6-15
15 amp twist lock plug for 240V twist lock outlets, NEMA L6-20 20 amp twist lock plug for 240 V twist lock outlets, British
BS1363 13 amp fused 3-blade plug for United Kingdom outlets, or a two pin 16 amp rated Schuko plug with ground contact
and socket for European outlets up to 250 V. Alternatively, we can provide flying leads with no plug for hard wire
applications or for operators who prefer to wire in user provided cord caps. Please choose pigtail option below for flying
leads with no plug.

POWER
The HUL-P10WR-DM-ILS-1227 is equipped with both a dimmer switch and an on/off switch. The dimmer is a rotary dial that
can adjust the brightness of the spotlight. Once the desired brightness level is found, operators can leave the dimmer in
position and then use the on/off switch to power the light while retaining the same brightness setting. The on/off switch is of
the toggle variety.
DIMMER
The dimmer included with this unit is a Pulse Width Modulator Controller designed to dim the LED light of the HUL-P10WR-
DM-ILS-1227. Basically, this is a voltage regulator for LED lights drawing 12 amps or less. PWM controllers are CPU
controlled, digital alternatives to resistance based rheostats. This PWM controller has a rotating switch that enables the
operator to control the brightness of the LED light. Thus, many operators will use this as a "dimmer" switch.
