FOR YOUR SAFETY
To prevent damage to the searchlight or injury to yourself or to others, read the following safety precautions in their entirety
before using this light.
WARNING
•
The searchlight is powerful and becomes hot during operation (especially the lens). Always provide air to the
cooling fins. Do not use near flammable fumes or surfaces.
•
Do not disassemble the searchlight. It is designed to work in extreme conditions. Disassembly may cause
damage to internal parts.
•
We advise you to keep this manual in the nylon case provided with the light.
•
Only those persons who have read the manual should be allowed to operate the light.
•
Keep out of reach of children
•
Do not store the searchlight in wet or humid places where the ambient temperature may exceed 40°C or degrees
under 0°C.
•
Always use a clean, soft cloth to clean the searchlight. Do not use any kind of oil product or solvent.
•
Do not store the light near fire or another source of heat or damage to internal components
might occur.
•
Do not short out the battery contacts. Shorting of the battery contacts will cause a short circuit and this will
damage the battery.
NOTICE
•
Acquaint yourself with all functions of the searchlight. Carefully read the user’s manual. The searchlight is
designed to be used in extreme conditions but there are limits of its utilization.
•
The searchlight must be used only with its genuine charger. Others will damage the battery and void your
warranty.
•
The searchlight should always be stored with a fully charged battery. You can expect a 1-3% discharge rate per
month.
CHARGING
•
Always use the correct charger. Incorrect charging causes serious damage to the light. Do not use the charger if
the cable or any part of the charger has been damaged. Damaged parts should be changed by your dealer.
•
Do not disassemble the charger. All repairs must be done by the manufacturer. Incorrect assembly or
disassembly or other tampering may cause short circuit and cause the potential of fire.
•
Always unplug the charger before starting any kind of maintenance or cleaning.
•
The charger is designed to be used indoors.
•
The charger should NOT be plugged in while not being used.
•
Do not use the charger near flammable liquids and in explosive environment. Sparking can cause ignition of
fumes and explosion.
Do not
expose the searchlight to extreme conditions.
•
Extreme conditions are e.g.: Low and High temperatures (under 0°C and above 50°C), severe shocks, acids,
permanent exposure to water, etc.
•
Use the included charger only
•
The device must be charged in the ambient temperature 0-40°C
