150 Watt Explosion Proof LED Portable Light
Instruction Manual
This explosion proof light is designed for illumination of industrial locations. It uses the latest in solid state lighting
technology for long life, low maintenance and high efficiency.
The unique design focuses the light where it is needed, giving improved efficiency over a conventional HID luminaire..
Included with this LED light is 100 feet of SOOW cord terminated in a 1523 explosion proof straight blade plug.
NOTE: This light needs to be plugged into and explosion proof environment.
WARNING
To avoid the risk of fire, explosion or electric shock, this product should be installed, inspected and maintained by a
qualified electrician only, in accordance with all applicable electrical codes.
To avoid electric shock:
•Be certain electrical power is OFF before and during installation and maintenance.
To avoid explosion:
•Make sure the supply voltage is within the luminaires’ voltage rating.
•Ensure the marked T rating is less than the ignition temperature of the Hazardous Atmosphere.
•Do not operate in ambient temperatures above those indicated on the luminaire nameplate.
•Do not operate if the lens is cracked or damaged. All fasteners should be properly seated.
ADJUSTMENT
The lamp can be easily adjusted up or down 90 degrees and locked
into position by simply loosening the two hand screws located on either
side of the light head and retightening them once the desired angle is
found.
This portable explosion proof flood light is multi-voltage capable and
configured to operate on 120-277 volts 50/60 Hz. The lamp is T5
temperature rated, Design Lights Consortium approved, and the LED
light head retains 80% of its lumen output after 60,000 hours of use, far
longer than incandescent or fluorescent lamps. The entire assembly is
ETL listed Class 1, Divisions 1-2, Class 2, and Divisions 1-2 for use in
hazardous locations and approved for paint spray booths.
