SAFETY INSTRUCTIOINS FOR ONSTALLATIONS IN HAZ-
ARDOUS AREAS
•
The low pressure double diaphragm transfer pumps series
Larius 2 and Larius 4 must be connected to the ground
with a suitable connector anti-release and anti-rotation.
•
Gas and vapour of fl ammable liquids must belong to the
group IIB and compatible with class temperature T4.
•
According with the nature of the operations and products, the
operator must regularly check the presence of deposit, the
cleaning, the wearing and the correct pump’s functioning.
•
It is advisable that a fi lter will be placed at the suction of the
material to prevent solid parts entering the pump.
•
The pipes used to connect suction and delivery must be
metallic, or plastic with metallic braid or plastic with fabric
braid with suitable earthing cable.
•
According to duties it is recommended the control of dia-
phragms and replacement.
•
The air feeling the pump needs to be fi ltered and originated
by a safe area.

operations must be carried out as stated in the
manual.

pumps series Larius 2 and Larius 4 must not work
empty of material.
All the operations, installation and service, must
be carried out by qualifi ed operators.
