CONVECTION HEATER
Dear Buyer!
We congratulate you on having
bought the device under trade
name “
Laretti
”. We are sure that
our devices will become essential
and reliable assistance in your
housekeeping.
Avoid extreme temperature chang-
es. Rapid temperature change (e.g.
when the unit is moved from freez-
ing temperature to a warm room)
may cause condensation inside the
unit and a malfunction when it is
switched on. In this case leave the
unit at room temperature for at
least 1.5 hours before switching it
on.
If the unit has been in transit, leave
it indoors for at least 1.5 hours be-
fore starting operation.
Introduction
To get the most out of your new heater,
please read through these instructions
and the attached safety regulations be-
fore use. Please also save the instruc-
tion manual in case you need to remind
yourself of the heater’s functions at a
later date.
IMPORTANT
It is normal when the heaters are
turned on for the first time or when they
are turned on after having been used
for a long period of time the heaters
may emit some smell and fumes. This
will disappear when the heater has been
on a short while.
Before plugging the unit into the mains,
ensure by visual inspection that the unit
is intact and has not suffered any dam-
age during transit.
CAUTION
The appliance must be always placed on
a flat and stable surface.
FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY
1.
Only connect the convector
heater to a single-phase socket with a
mains voltage as specified on the rating
plate and the socket is earthed.
2.
Keep combustible material such
as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers,
clothes and curtains at least 0.9m from
the front of the heater and keep them
away at least 0.3m from the sides and
rear.
3.
Always disconnect the heater
from mains when not in use or cleaning.
Pull only by the plug. Do not pull on the
cord when disconnect the heater.
4.
Do not use this heater in the
immediate surroundings of a bath, a
shower or a swimming pool.
5.
Keep the convector heater
clean. Do not allow any objects to enter
any ventilation or exhaust opening as
this may cause electric shock, or fire or
damage to the heater.
6.
If the supply cord becomes
damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or simi-
larly qualified persons in order to avoid
a hazard.
7.
The heater must not be located
immediately below a socket-outlet.
8.
After use of the convection
heater, unplug it from the mains.
9.
When removing the plug from
the socket, do not pull by the cord.
10.
Do not use the device in the
presence of gas, paint or other flamma-
ble substances.
11.
Do not use outdoors.

CAUTION
:
In order to avoid a
hazard due to inadvertent resetting of
the thermal cutout, this appliance must
not be supplied through an external
switching device, such as a timer, or
connected to a circuit that is regularly
switched on and off by the utility.
13.
Do not use the appliance for
other than its intended use. This appli-
ance is intended for household use only.
14.
Do not use the heater unless
the feet are correctly attached.
15.
Do not place the heater on car-
pets having a very deep pile.
16.
Children aged from 3 years and
less than 8 years shall only switch
on/off the appliance provided that it has
been placed or installed in its intended
normal operating position and they have
been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a
safe way and understand the hazards
involved.
