Always
Select whether the EDS4100 is always in command mode. Choices are:
Yes
= EDS4100 is in command mode.
No
= EDS4100 is not in command mode. (
default
)
Use Serial
String
Select whether command mode is enabled when the specified serial
string is read on the serial line during boot time. Choices are:
Yes
= command mode is enabled for the currently selected serial port
when the characters specified in the
Serial String
text box are received.
No
= command mode is not enabled for the currently selected serial port
when the characters specified in the
Serial String
text box are received.
Echo Serial
String
Select whether the currently selected serial port echoes the specified
serial string at boot time. Choices are:
Yes
= echo the characters specified in the
Serial String
text box.
No
= do not echo the characters specified in the
Serial String
text box.
Wait Time
Enter the maximum number of milliseconds the currently selected serial
port waits to receive the specific serial string at boot time to enter
command mode. Default is 5000 milliseconds.
Serial String
Enter the serial string that places the currently selected serial port into
command mode. After entering a string, use the buttons to indicate
whether the string is a text or binary value.
Signon
Message
Enter the boot up signon message that will be sent over the serial line at
boot time. After entering the message, select whether the string entered
is a text or binary value.
