If you are using the Lansinoh® Affinity Breast Pump for the first time it is
important to read the full instruction manual before you begin.

Quick-Start Instructions

Start with Phase I

Turn on power by pressing the on/off button.
This will take you into Phase I - the Let-Down

(Stimulation ) Phase.
You will hear a higher pitched sound in short cycles.

Phase II (Expression Phase)

The pump will automatically switch into phase II after

two minutes.
If you want to bypass or reduce phase I press
Quick-Change button.
The pump will switch to Phase II immediately.
This is characterised by a lower pitch sound and longer cycles.

Adjust cycle

While you are in phase II you may adjust cycle level by

pressing (+) or (-) next to cycle icon.

The highest

cycle

setting (L6) actually creates the slowest pumping

rhythm, while the lowest

cycle

setting (L1) creates the fastest pumping

rhythm. The highest

cycle

setting combined with the highest suction

level provides the greatest level for milk expression.

Adjust suction

While you are in phase I or phase II you may adjust

suction level by pressing (+) or (-) next to suction icon.

If the suction on your breast reaches uncomfortable levels, reduce
the suction level by pushing the (-) Suction button, or disconnect the
pump connector from its socket on the electric pump.

Change to Phase I (Let Down Phase)

At any time during Expression phase you can switch

back to phase I (Let Down Phase) by pressing the

Quick-Change Button.

Stop pumping

Turn the pump off with on/off button.
