This option allows you to configure CPU parameters.
Limit CPUID Maximum:
When “Enabled”, the CPU will limit its maximum CPUID input value to 3 when
the processor is queried. When “Disabled”, the CPU will function with its actual maximum CPUID values. For
this case, leave it as “Disabled”.
Execute Disable Bit:
an Intel hardware-based protection against malicious code. It will detect the
memory in which a code can be executed or not. When enabled, it will prevent certain classes of malicious
buffer overflow attacks when combined with a supporting OS. When disabled, it forces the XD feature flag
to always return 0.
Intel Virtualization:
Enables or disables Intel Virtualization Technology. On a server or firewall/UTM/IPS
operating mode, it is recommended to enable this feature so that multiple operating systems and
applications will run in independent partitions.
