All Models
a.
With the rockshaft lockup in storage posi-
tion, drive the tractor forward and lower the
implement into the ground. When the chisels
are at the approximate desired depth, check
that the frame is level and the chisels are at a
uniform depth.
WARNING

DEATH, STOP TRACTOR ENGINE,
SHIFT TO PARK POSITION OR SHIFT
TO NEUTRAL AND SET BRAKES BE-
FORE MAKING ADJUSTMENTS.
b.
If the frame is not level (front-to-rear), raise
the implement out of the ground and raise or
lower the hitch. Lower the implement into the
ground as before to ensure the frame is level.

Wing Models
a.
If the main frame folding wings are not level,
adjust the main frame cylinder anchor eyebolt
nuts accordingly
(See Figure 4-21)

b.
If the cutter frame wings are not level, adjust
the cutter frame cylinder anchor eyebolt nuts
accordingly
(See Figure 4-22).
Note: If the implement cannot be leveled, see
the troubleshooting guide in the SERVICE Sec-
tion.
