Attach L-bracket to rear bolt of wing rock-
shaft inner bearing. Fasten wing lift cylinder
hoses to L-bracket with clamp and 3/8
″
x 2

cap screw, lock washer and nut

Attach straight bracket to U-bolt at end of
wing hinge. Fasten cutter frame lift cylinder
hoses to bracket with clamp and 3/8
″
x 2

Use plastic ties to securely fasten all hoses
at various places on frame. Keep hoses away
from potential pinch points and sharp edges.

Purging Air From Hydraulic System - Initial
Assembly
IMPORTANT!
CYLINDER OPERATION WILL BE VERY ER-
RATIC AND UNEVEN UNTIL ALL AIR IS
PURGED FROM THE SYSTEM.
After hitching the tractor to the chisel plow and
connecting the hydraulic hoses:
a.
Cycle all chisel plow cylinders several times
to purge air from system.
b.
Connect cylinder rod ends after purging sys-
tem.
c.
Operate all lift and wing fold cylinders to
check operation.
d.
Check for and correct leaks as required.

RECHECK FLUID LEVEL IN TRACTOR
RESERVOIR AFTER FILLING AND
PURGING AIR FROM IMPLEMENT HY-
DRAULIC SYSTEM. FAILURE TO DO
SO CAN RESULT IN PERSONAL IN-
JURY AND / OR DAMAGE TO IMPLE-
MENT OR TRACTOR. ADD FLUID AS
NECESSARY.
