3-18.1
Locate gauge wheels on outer end of cut-
ter wing frames as shown in assembly lay-
out.

Attach one long plate and one short plate
to wing frame with four 5/8" x 7" cap screws,
lock washers, nuts
(See Figure 3-26)

Attach another long plate to assembly us-
ing four 5/8" x 3" cap screws with four spac-
ers, lock washers, nuts.
3-18.4
Insert wheel support between plates. Use
L-pin and clip pin to hold in place.
3-18.5
Install wheel on hub.Tighten wheel bolts to
80 ft-lb (108 N
⋅
m).
3-18.6
Using wheel height adjustment lever, re-
move L-pin and lower gauge wheel to
ground to support wing frame. Replace L-pin
and clip pin. Return adjustment lever to stor-
age position
