9. Reverse to install with the following details:
• To reduce vibration, the rubber and metal spacers mounted between the motor mount and the motor pan are
arranged in a specific manner. If you are standing on the treadmill, the following arrangement applies: On the
right side you will have (0) spacers on top of pan and (1) rubber, (1) metal followed by (1) retaining clip on bot
-
tom. On the left side you will have (1) metal spacer on top of the pan and (1) rubber on the bottom followed by
(1) retaining clip.
• When reinstalling make sure to properly position foam block under motor.

Drive motor brush inspection and maintenance is important especially for LTD or Commercial machines. Motor
brushes that are excessively worn or too short may damage the drive motor. Perform the following procedure to
remove/inspect/replace motor brushes and inspect the commutator of McMillan Drive Motors.
1. Remove the cap with a flat head screwdriver. This exposes the brush holder and brush.
