Installation of Customer Supplied 

Hydraulics

Refer to Figure 1-1:

Hydraulic hoses, adapter fittings, and quick disconnect 

couplings for connecting grapple to tractor remote outlets 

are not included as they may vary depending upon which 

tractor the grapple is attached. 

1. Attach adapter fittings and quick disconnect couplers 

to one end of both hydraulic hoses and tighten. 

(Hydraulic hoses, adapter fittings, and quick 

disconnect couplings are customer supplied.)

2. Attach hydraulic hoses to bulk head tees (#1 & #2) 

and tighten.

3. Consult your tractor Operator’s Manual to determine 

which remote outlet is under pressure when pulling 

back on tractor control lever. Attach the hydraulic 

hose connected to tee (#2) to the selected remote 

outlet. (Opens grapple claw.)

4. Attach hydraulic hose connected to tee (#1) to the 

remaining remote outlet. (Closes grapple claw.)

NOTE:  

Make sure customer supplied hoses and 

fittings will connect to 3/4" MJIC threaded ends of 

tees (#1 & #2).

NOTE:  

Line (#1) leads to rod end of hydraulic 

cylinders and will open grapple claw when under 

pressure. Line (#2) leads to base end of hydraulic 

cylinders and will close grapple claw when under 

pressure.
