Hook-up to Kubota B Mount Hitch
DANGER
!
To avoid serious injury or death:
A crushing hazard exists while hooking-up and unhooking the
implement. Keep people and animals away while backing-up
to the implement or pulling away from the implement. Do not
operate hydraulic controls while a person or animal is directly
behind the power machine or near the implement.
WARNING
!
To avoid serious injury or death:
Check Kubota B tractor hook-up points frequently. Make sure
attachment’s top hitch pins are fully seated in the loader hitch
hooks. Lower hitch pins must be fully inserted and secured
with wire retaining pins. An improperly attached unit can fall.
Refer to Figure 1-4:
1. Check for and remove any debris in the hitch point
areas before hooking-up to grapple.
2. Unhook wire retaining pins and pull lower hitch pins
from Kubota B mount hitch.
3. Rotate top of loader hitch forward and lower loader
arms down until upper hitch hooks are in-alignment
with the grapple’s upper hitch pins.
4. Drive tractor slowly forward until upper hitch pins on
the grapple make contact with B mount upper hitch
hooks.
5. Slowly raise loader arms up while rotating top of
B mount back until the grapple’s upper hitch pins are
fully seated in the B mount upper hooks and hitch pin
spacers are seated against B mount saddle plates.
6. Raise grapple 2"-3" (5-8 cm) off the ground and
insert lower hitch pins. Secure hitch pins with wire
retaining pins. Make sure wire retainers are caught
over end of pins.
7.
Rotate park stands (#1) up. Refer to
on page 10 for detailed instructions.
on page 13.
