Disconnect from Grapple
Refer to Figure 1-2:

Shutdown power machine and release all hydraulic

grapple for long periods.
2.
Park tractor on a flat, level, solid surface.
3.
Lower the loader arms until the grapple is slightly off
the ground.
4.
Shut tractor down according to
on page 9 leaving the grapple slightly off
the ground.
5.
Release all hydraulic pressure to the auxiliary lines.
See your tractor Operator’s Manual for additional
instructions.
6.
Disconnect quick couplers (#1 &# 2) from the tractor
quick couplers.
7.
Store hydraulic hoses (#3) on the grapple frame with
the couplers (#1 & #2) hanging down and off the
ground to keep dirt and moisture away from them.
8.
Rotate loader hitch lock handles fully up to remove
lock pins from bottom slots on the grapple. Check to
ensure they are fully out of bottom slots.
9.
Start tractor and tilt top of loader hitch plates forward
slightly.
10. Slowly lower the loader arms until the top angle bars
have separated from the grapple’s top angle bars.
11. Carefully back tractor away from the grapple while
ensuring loader hitch plates clear the grapple hitch
plates.
