Floating Top Link
Implements with gauge wheel(s) usually require a
floating top link to allow the gauge wheel(s) to float with
the contour of the land. Land Pride offers optional
Floating Top Link Kits designed to adapt the QH05,
QH16, and QH20 Quick Hitches for those products:
Determine which Quick Hitch you have and refer to the
following assembly instructions for that hitch.

Section 3: Optional Equipment
QH05 Floating Top Link
Refer to Figure 3-1:
1. Remove existing hairpin cotter (#5) and 3/4" x 2 3/4"
clevis pin (#7). Store hairpin cotter for safe keeping.
2. Attach floating link bars (#3) to the Quick Hitch as
shown with six flat washers (#4) and 3/4" x 4" clevis
pin (#6A). Secure clevis pin with hairpin cotter (#5).
3. Assemble spacer (#2) in implement’s top link (#1)
and place implement’s top link between links (#3) as
shown. Secure top link with clevis pin (#6B) and
secure pin with hairpin cotter (#5).
