Level Rake
Figure 3-1
Level Rake From Side to Side
Refer to Figure 1-2 on page 13:
1. Manually adjust one of the lower 3-point lift arms up
or down to level the Powered Rake from side to side.
Refer to the tractor’s manual for detailed instructions
on how to adjust the lower lift arms up and down.
Level Rake From Front to Back
Refer to Figure 3-1:
Make sure the rake is leveled from side to side before
leveling the rake from front to back. It is important that the
rake be leveled before adjusting the gauge wheels up or
down.
1. Using tractor control lever, raise the roller 1" to 2"
(25-50 mm) above the ground.
2. Without changing 3-point lift height, shut tractor
3. Lengthen or shorten center 3-point link to level the
rake from front to back.
a. Lengthen the center 3-point link to raise front of
rake.
b. Shorten the center 3-point link to raise rear of
rake.
4. Once rake is level, continue with

Depth Adjustment

Gauge Wheel Depth Adjustment
Refer to Figure 3-2:
Caster gauge wheels control roller height during field
operation. Move gauge wheels up or down to set working
depth. Do not use tractor to control roller height. Ensure
rake is level before adjusting gauge wheel depth. Refer to
“Level Rake From Front to Back”
1. Remove linchpin (#5) and washer (#4).
2. Rotate open end of lower spacers (#3) to align with
notch (#2).
To Increase Working Depth
Pull desired number of lower spacers (#3) from
below the support arm and add to gauge wheel
spindle (#1) above the support arm.
To Decrease Working Depth
Pull desired number of upper spacers (#3) from
above support arm and add to notch (#2) below
support arm.
3. Replace washer (#4) and linchpin (#5).
4. Repeat steps 1-3 above for opposite side.
