Hook-up Without BX Quick Hitch

DANGER

!

To avoid serious injury or death:  
A crushing hazard exists while hooking-up and unhooking 

implement. Keep people and animals away while backing-up 

to implement or pulling away from implement. Do not operate 

hydraulic controls while a person or animal is directly behind 

the power machine or near the implement.

WARNING

!

To avoid serious injury or death:  
Make sure bucket is properly attached to Kubota’s BX front 

loader to keep it from coming loose and falling. The center 

hitch pin must be properly installed and secured with bolt and 

nut. The lower clevis pins must be properly installed and 

secured with hairpins.

Land Pride’s 

“BX Direct Pin Option”

 is required when 

hooking bucket directly to the front loader arms. See your 
nearest Land Pride dealer to order this kit.

1.

Unhook existing attachment from Kubota’s BX front 
loader arms. Refer to Kubota Operator’s Manual for 
detailed instructions.

2. Store Kubota’s existing lower hitch pins and center 

hitch pin with existing attachment.

3. Check for and remove any debris in the hitch point 

areas before hooking-up 4-in-1 Combination Bucket.

4. Slowly approach bucket until loader arm hitch holes 

are aligned with bucket lower clevis hitch pin holes.

5. Place transmission in park, shut tractor engine off, 

remove switch key, and dismount tractor.

6. Pin lower clevises to the front loader lift arms with 

extended hitch pins (#1) and secure with hairpin 
cotters (#5).

Pin upper center clevis to the hydraulic cylinder rod 
with hitch pin (#2). Secure hitch pin with hex bolt (#3) 
and locknut (#4). Draw locknut up snug; do not 
tighten.
