Hitch Assembly
Refer to Figure 1-1:
1.
Attach left-hand hitch plate (#1) to the inside of clevis
plate “A” with 3/4”-10 x 2” GR5 bolts (#4), lock
washers (#5), and hex nuts (#6). Draw nuts up snug,
do not tighten at this time.
2. Attach right-hand hitch plate (#2) to the inside of
clevis plate “B” with 3/4”-10 x 2” GR5 bolts (#4), lock
washers (#5), and hex nuts (#6). Draw nuts up snug,
do not tighten at this time.
3. Attach back straps (#3) to the inside of mounting
lugs “C” with 3/4”-10 x 2” GR5 bolts (#4), lock
washers (#5), and hex nuts (#6). Draw nuts up snug,
do not tighten at this time.
4. Align holes in back straps (#3) with lower holes in
hitch plates (#1 & #2). With 2" long spacer (#7)
positioned in the center, insert 3/4"-10 x 5 1/2" GR5
bolt (#8) through hitch plate (#1), rear strap (#3),
spacer (#7), rear strap (#3), and hitch plate (#2) as
shown.
5. Secure bolt with lock washer (#9) and hex nut (#10).
6. Tighten hex nuts (#6 & #10) to the correct torque.
NOTE:
Shanks are not shown to make hitch
assembly instructions easier to follow.

A tractor hitched to the BB35 Series scraper must meet
listed minimum horsepower requirements. Refer to
“Horsepower Rating” below for listed requirements. Using
an under horsepower tractor can result in loss of tractor
control and cause serious injury or death.
•
Lightweight tractors with rear attached implements may
need weights added to the front to maintain steering control.
Consult your tractor Operator’s Manual to determine
proper weight requirements and maximum weight
Torque Requirements
Refer to
“Torque Values Chart”
determine correct torque values when tightening
hardware.
