INSERTING/REPLACING BATTERIES
1. Respect the direction shown to remove the battery cover (see illustration 1).
2. Place four 1.5 V AA alkaline batteries (not provided). The direction of the
batteries is clarified (see illustration 2).
3. Place the cover.
4. When the «Discharged battery symbol» is displayed in the lower left corner of
the LCD display, replace all four batteries (see illustration 3).
5. Remove all four batteries when the monitor is not used for extended periods.

PLACEMENT OF THE PRESSURE SLEEVE
1. Insert the air plug of the sleeve in the
monitor’s air intake.
2. The sleeve should be properly assembled when it is taken out of the box. If
this is not the case, pull the end of the sleeve through the D-shaped metallic
ring to form a loop. The soft material should be on the inside of the loop of
the sleeve.
3. If it is properly assembled, the self-adhering
strip should be on the exterior of the loop of
the sleeve and the D-shaped metallic ring
should not touch your skin.
4. Put your left arm through the loop of the
sleeve. The lower part of the loop should be
around 2-3 cm above the elbow. The tip of
the sleeve should be positioned more or less
in the middle of the inside of your arm.
