4. LAMAX GPS Locator Environment and Functions
1) Operation
Operating the LAMAX GPS Locator is very simple using the „
and the LAMAX Tracking application. Everything else happens in the background without
needing to handle the device.
2) SOS button
The physical „SOS button“ (see section
) is primarily intended
for dialling a stored SOS contact and sending an SOS notification to the LAMAX Tracking
application when a threat is felt.
The SOS function is activated by pressing and holding the „SOS button“ for 5 seconds. If two
SOS contacts are entered, and the device cannot get through to the first number entered, it
will automatically call the second. Before dialling, a notification will also be sent to the LAMAX
Tracking mobile application.

3) Reset button
The reset button on the side of the LAMAX GPS Locator is used to restore it when it does not
respond to switching on/off or charging. Caution: do not confuse it with the „
“. It is
necessary to use a blunt thin object (such as a paper clip) to press the reset button. You only
need to press the „SOS button“ once.
After pressing the reset button, connect the LAMAX GPS Locator to the charger and

4) LED
The diode is located in the middle of the LAMAX GPS Locator on the top and is used to indicate
the status of the device. Checking that the device is switched on is performed by pressing the
„SOS button“ once. If the device is not connected to the network, the LED lights up at regular
one-second intervals.
5) Time announcement
This function is used to announce the time and must be activated in the LAMAX Tracking
application
