Before first use
Take the product out of the box and remove all packaging material (including any adhesive plastic sheets, stickers, paper, etc.) from
the product.
Product Description
The touchless dust bin is characterised by its simple operation and stylish ergonomic design. The dust bin is made from quality
materials. The dust bin utilises photoelectric technology. The motion sensor activated lid is completely automatic and very hygienic
(touchless operation). Very stable product with long lifetime and low power consumption.
Operating instructions
1) Open the battery compartment cover located on the base of the dust bin lid and insert 4× type-AA batteries – making sure that
the battery polarity is correct. Then close the battery cover.
2) Fit a bin liner (plastic bag) into the centre of the dust bin and slide it in behind the edge of the clamp ring in the top part of the
container.
3) Turn on the main power switch at the rear bin cover, the indicator will be lit red for approx. 2 seconds. When the indicator
flashes red every 4 seconds, this signalises that the electric circuit is ready for normal operation.
4) When throwing waste into the dust bin, take care that your hand / item is approx. 10–20 cm above the sensor window. The lid
will open automatically within half a second and will subsequently close approx. 5–6 seconds after your hand / item is out of
the range of the sensor. To prevent the lid from opening unnecessarily, keep your hands / items at a sufficient distance from the
sensor area.
5) When the „Open“ button in the sensor window area is pressed 2×, the lid will open for a longer time, approx. 90 seconds and
then close automatically, or you can press the „Close“ button to speed this up.

Coloured indicator light:
a) Standby state – the indicator flashes red (every 4 seconds)
b) Opened lid – the indicator is lit green when the lid is open
c) Closed lid – the indicator is lit red when the lid is closed
d) When the manual Open lid function is used – the indicator flashes green every 3 seconds.
7) The batteries will last approximately 3–4 months is the appliance under the assumption that the dust bin is used approx.
20× per day. In standby mode, alkaline batteries may last up to 2 years in the appliance.
8) When the indicator flashes yellow every 3 seconds, it means that the batteries are almost flat.
Cleaning and maintenance
1. Do not wash the lid of the touchless dust bin because it is equipped with many electronic units.
2. Only wipe with a dampened tissue, cloth
3. Do not push down on the lid of the dust bin while it is opening. If this occurs, press the „Close“ button for the dust bin to return
to its normal state.
4. To avoid damage, do not open the lid by force.
5. Remove flat batteries to prevent battery fluid from leaking out on to the electronic mechanism.
6. Prevent sunlight from hitting the sensor window
7. Do not repair the product yourself, there is a risk of irreparable damage.
8. Do not place any items on the lid of the dust bin.
