HINTS AND TIPS
• Cut ingredients into small even 2cm sized pieces do not try to blend large chunks.
• Add liquid ingredients to the glass blending jug first, followed by solid or dry
ingredients. This will ensure a more consistent blend.
• When mixing solid ingredients, feed small portions into the glass blending jug gradually
rather than adding a large quantity at one time.
• Use the pulse mode when mixing solid or highly viscous ingredients to avoid the blade
becoming stagnant.
• For preparing small amounts of ingredients use pulse mode.
•
DO NOT
over fill the glass blending jug. This will block the blades. Turn off and unplug
the appliance, take out some of the food or liquid before switching back on.
•
DO NOT
try and blend frozen ingredients that have formed a solid mass. Allow to thaw
slightly and break up into smaller pieces before using.
•
DO NOT
use the blender to mash potatoes or mix heavy dough.
• If making breadcrumbs or processing herbs make sure the glass blending jug and blade
assembly are completely dry.
• Use a spatula to redistribute ingredients in the glass blending jug. NEVER use metal
utensils as these may damage the easy-go bottle or blade.
•
DO NOT
over-process – most foods will blend in just a few seconds.
•
DO NOT
use the blender for very hard food products, such as ice cubes, bones, shelled
nuts, frozen meats etc., as this could damage the blade and cause the motor to seize.
