USER GUIDE
15 - WATER SYSTEM (KOSMO)
15.1 Introduction
All the LAIKA-models are equipped with a water
system expressly conceived to grant a high comfort
and a suitable safety level.
Here below you will find some useful advice that will
allow you to avoid damages to the system, especially
in case of very low temperatures:
• do not use in any case abrasive or acid products to
clean the pipes;
• to avoid damage to the water pump, do not open
the taps when the fresh water tank is empty;
• in case of frost, the system must be completely
emptied (please also read “Maintenance – Inactivity
of the vehicle”). It is very important to be sure that
no water still remains in the final part of the system,
in the taps of the sink and in the lavatory.
15.2 Fresh water tank
The fresh water tank is located inside the forward
facing settee or under the rear bed.
In the upper part of the tank there is the draining tap
(a), the inspection cap (b) and the probes (c).
To empty the fresh water tank to the level of 20 litres
you need to rotate the tap (a) by three quaters of a
turn. If you rotate the tap (a) by two whole turns the
fresh water tank will be fully drained.
• Constantly check the water level in the tanks
on the control panel.
• Wash and rinse the tanks with water condi-
tioning products at regular intervals.
• Empty the system completely when the vehicle
is not being used.
• Do not keep the taps open when the vehicle is
not being used.
THINGS TO DO
• Do not leave water in the tanks when the
vehicle is not being used.
• The water of the tanks is not suitable for
drinking, cooking and washing food.
THINGS TO AVOID
The water pump (immersion pump) is located
inside the tank. The pump is maintenance-free.
