If any damage is done to the blades, Do Not operate the unit or attempt to remove the blades yourself. Take the unit to the

place of purchase or to a qualified Laguna repair specialist who will replace the blades for you.

Q. How do I maximise the suction power when operating the Cordless Pond Cleaner?

A. Allowing the discharge tubing and debris bag to float on the pond when the unit is in use will help to maximize the water

output. Doing this reduces the head height which the water must travel before being expelled.

Q. I want to have the water run from my exit hose onto my garden, which is up above the level of the pond. To what

head height will the pond cleaner operate?

A. The exit hose can be held to around 48” / 120cm before the water from the exit hose reduces to a trickle and stops.

Q. Can I use my Cordless Pond Cleaner to clean my above ground pool?

A. Under NO circumstances is the Cordless Pond Cleaner to be used in swimming pools or any other locations where peo-

ple may be immersed. In addition, the Cordless Pond Cleaner may tear the liner during use causing a hazardous condition

and risk of drowning.

Q. Why is there a handle on the motor housing?

A. The handle on the motor housing is in place to facilitate transportation. It provides a second handle to hold on to when

carrying the unit to and from storage.

Q. Will the Cordless Pond Cleaner cause any risk to my fish and frogs? I don’t want them to get sucked up.

A. The Cordless Pond Cleaner causes enough noise and vibration to warn the creatures, they will get out of the way.

Q. So will the noise from the Cordless Pond Cleaner stress the pond inhabitants?

A. No, the Cordless Pond Cleaner is no noisier than an average pond pump.

Q. It says in the warranty that wear and tear parts are not covered. What about the blades?

A. If the blades become damaged over time, or arc broken during use due to a large piece of debris then the blades will

need changing. Blade replacement must only be carried out by an Authorized Laguna Specialist and there will be a charge

for this service. The blades are considered to be a wear and tear part.

Q. While using the Cordless Pond Cleaner all the dirt from the bottom of the pond is stirring up and clouding the

water so I can’t sec anything. How do I prevent this from happening?

A. When vacuuming a pond you should go very slowly. Any fast movements in the water will only stir the dirt up, making it

impossible to suck up. Take your time, do a small section at a time, and use smooth, slow strokes.

Q. After using my Cordless Pond Cleaner, I noticed water leaking out of the locking rings. Should I be concerned?

A. No, water getting into the shaft is ok and won’t cause any problems. The motor enclosure in the handle is sealed so no

water will get into the electrical components.
