Possible Solution
Windows XP Users:
Go to
Start
>
Control Panel
>
Performance and
Maintenance
>
System
>
Hardware
tab >
Device Manager
button >
SCSI
Controller
> click on the plus sign next
to the controller icon, and you should
see your device listed.
Mac Users:
Open
Apple System
Profiler and click on the
Devices and
Volumes
tab. If your device is not listed,
recheck the cables and try the other
troubleshooting solutions listed here.
If you cannot see the device, recheck the
cables and try the other troubleshooting
solutions listed here.
You may need to disable some Mac
OS Authoring Support exentions for
Toast to be able to control the drive.
Use the Extensions Manager to disable
the following extensions:
• Authoring Support v1.1.2
or newer,
• Disc Burner Extension v1.0.2
or newer,
• FireWire Authoring Support v1.1.2
or newer,
• USB Authoring Support v1.1.2
or newer.
The check box next tot he extension
should be disabled (unchecked).
