Maintenance
If the mixer leaks from the handle or drips from the outlet, please replace the cartridges as shown below.
Remove the screw caps,
undo the set screws,
remove the handles
and unscrew the sleeves.
Unscrew the adapters and locking
nuts holding the cartridges with a
wrench and take out the cartridges.
Keep the cartridge adapters for
handles.
Place the new cartridges in,
tighten the locking nuts and
install the adapters, screw the
sleeves on and reassemble the
handles.
Water Temperature Setting Adjustment
The mixer comes from the factory with a gray ring insert on the cartridge that serves as anti-scalding device.
It can be removed and water temperature set to a maximum per user’s preference.
GRAY RING
Remove the screw cap,
the set screw, pull out the handle
and unscrew the sleeve.
Using a flat-head screwdriver, pry out
the gray ring, then adjust the cartridge
stem to run your preferred max. water
temperature.
Insert the gray ring back onto the
cartridge so that prongs on the ring
block the rotation against the blue
prongs on the cartridge. Align the teeth
carefully to slide it back on.
Install all the parts back.
