Lockout/Tagout Procedure
The lockout/tagout procedure should be followed whenever you are inspecting, cleaning or repairing

Failure to follow the lockout/tagout procedure may result in serious injury or death. Prior to
performing under body work it is necessary to set the body prop as explained later in this
manual.
The following is the lockout/tagout procedure:
1.
Set the chassis parking brake.
2.
Turn off the hydraulic pump.
3.
Activate one of the hydraulic controls to relieve any residual pressure in the system.
4.
Turn off engine, remove keys from the ignition and store the keys in a safe, controlled area. It is
recommended that you keep the keys on your person.
