Right-Hand Side External Control Station
The M
INIMAX
TM
has another control station. This one is located on the right-hand side of the truck
near the hydraulic tank. This control station has the same red, green and yellow buttons as the ones
found in the cab, which are used to operate the packer. On some trucks, it may also have a speed-up
switch and a set of crusher panel up/down switches.
To use the right-hand side external control station, the operator must press the Right-Hand Side
Control Station switch on the control panel (see Figure 3-38). This switch turns from blue to green
after being pressed. The operator can now use the right-hand side external control station to operate
the packer, the crusher panel (if equipped) and the speed-up function (if available) from the outside.
To deactivate the right-hand side external control station, just press the Right-Hand Side Control
Station switch again (see Figure 3-38). This switch will then turn from green to blue, indicating that
the outside control station is deactivated.

Body External Deadman Switch (optional)
This optional button (see Figure 3-53) is part of a two-hand safety system which is required to be
installed on refuse trucks in some jurisdictions.
This switch must be pressed and held while the control lever or button of an optional piece of
equipment such as a chute, tipper or crusher panel is applied.
When pressed and held the external deadman switch enables an optional piece of equipment to
operate. Releasing it will cause that piece of equipment to stop immediately.
