If the computer is connected to the internet, the drivers will be found there. If not, Windows will ask
for the folder, where they can be found. Point at the driver folder in the installation folder.
The driver will be installed automatically. When done Windows will say so.
To connect to the CoolSafe the software needs to know which COM port is being used. Open the
Device Manager in the Windows control panel, locate and open the Ports option and the USB serial
port from the list (in this case COM3).
Open the Datalogger window by pressing the “Grafs/Config” button. Open the “Settings” menu and
enter the “Comport setup” option. Select the COM port and press “Save”
If another COM port is used at a later time this procedure must be repeated.
From the same menu enter the “General setup” option to select interface language (currently English
or Danish), CoolSafe model and path to datalogging files.
