GENERAL INFORMATION
1.1 Introduction
This operating manual introduces the design, functions and basic instructions for
operation of the LABGEAR DAT103 Digital and Analogue Television analyzer.
DAT103 is designed to permit optimal testing and adjustment of complete television
and broadcast distribution networks, network components and related electronic products.
The analyzer allows measurement DVB-T Digital and Analogue TV signals.
DAT103 can be useful in a laboratory, or in the field thanks to flexible powering options
that includes an internal re-chargeable Li-ion
battery.

1.2 Safety precautions
Thoroughly inspect the product and carefully read the related documentation to get
acquainted with all the safety markings and instructions before you start to operate the
analyzer.
WARNING
Only trained service personnel should attempt to repair this analyzer.
CAUTION
Tuning the analyzer and replacement of the components that influence the
accuracy of measurements without service personnel is strictly prohibited, since the
components used in the Analyzer are purpose-made and their replacement will result in
inaccurate operation of the Analyzer. To exclude the possibility of mechanical damage to
the DAT103, the instructions regarding the storage and transportation (Sections 7 and 8)
of the analyzer must be observed.
Take care to keep coax braid wire cuttings away from your analyzer. Just one piece
inside can be expensive to locate and remove and may even cause permanently damage.
