Before you install the evidence drying cabinet, you need to plan the site for
installation. Examine the location where you intend to install the cabinet. You
must be certain that the area is level and of solid construction. In addition, a
source of electrical power must be located near the installation site.

Clearance
A minimum clearance of at least 6 inches (150 mm) is suggested on the top of the
cabinet for service. There should be 36 inches (914 mm) clearance at the front of
the cabinet to allow the door to swing open without hitting any obstructions.
