4. Attach the clips located on the corners of the
screen house body to the corner poles (Figure
6). There are 2 clips at each corner.
5. Stake the tent to the ground using the 4 corner
stake-out loops and the side stake out beckets.
Fly and Clip-in Floor (Sold Separately)
Follow these steps to attach the optional rain fly:
1. Unfold the rain fly and locate the L.L.Bean logo.
This will be positioned on the side panel of the
fly (Figure 7).
Follow these steps to install the optional clip-in floor:
1. Unfold the floor and locate the corner swivel
clips.
2. Place the floor inside the screen house and
line up the clips to the “O” rings located at the
corners of the screen house. Attach the clips to
the “O” rings (Figure 10).
2. Rotate the fly so the logo side corresponds with
the side panels of the screen house (the sides
without the doors). Drape the fly over the front
of the tent and walk it over the tent (Figure 8).
Note: this can be done by one person, but is
easier with two.
3. Once the fly is positioned correctly over the tent,
reach under the fly at the corners and attach the
Velcro loops to the corner poles. Then attach the
fly’s corner swivel clips to the “D” rings on the
screen house’s web stake-out loops. Adjust the
tension as necessary (Figure 9).
4. Stake out the fly’s side pull-out webs. This
will allow better ventilation between the fly
and screen house, and will further anchor the
shelter.
Note:
Both front and rear door flaps on the fly can
be used as awnings for sun and rain protection.
Both are equipped with three brass grommets
that can be used with additional poles (sold
separately) or ropes to create the awnings
