1.
Always use approved pipe thread compound suitable
for use with L.P. on the threaded connections.
2.
Assemble the components together according to the
figure. This view is to show general assembly of the
components only. The regulator must always be
mounted so its vent, regardless of location on the
regulator, is always pointed downward.
3.
Tighten all connections securely.
4.
Check all connections for gas leaks using approved
gas leak detectors.

MANUAL SHUT-OFF VALVE, HOSE
AND REGULATOR ASSEMBLY
To Connect the Direct Wired Thermostat Kit to the Control
Box on the Heater:
a.
The installation and wiring of a thermostat must
be done by an electrician or someone properly
qualified.
b.
The thermostat may use 18 gauge, 2 wire cord to
handle the low voltage being supplied to the
thermostat from the transformer.
c.
Fo l l ow a l l i n s t r u c t i o n s p rov i d e d w i t h t h e
thermostat kit.
d.
The heater must be tested for proper operation
after the thermostat has been connected.

Disconnect the electrical supply before connecting the
thermostat to the heater.
