The enclosure is placed on its bottom face, as illustrated.

X12 speaker disassembly procedure

Procedure

1.

Remove the screws securing the speaker.
Use the 5 mm hex bit.

2.

Carefully remove the speaker assembly and disconnect the speaker cables.

3.

Remove the speaker gasket.

4.

Clean any remaining glue from the cabinet.
