4. If no change is required, or after a change is completed, press SCROLL to advance to the
TRANSFER FEATURE CODE menu (see Paragraph 2-5.8.2 ).
5. Press BACK to return the display to the NETWORK SETTINGS menu ( Figure 2-7 ).
2-5.8.2 Set TRANSFER FEATURE CODE
The TRANSFER FEATURE CODE menu ( Figure 2-17 ) shows the setting used to match the STE to the
switch for transferring call capabilities. The default setting is “061”.

1. To change an existing code to one listed in Table 2-14 press CHANGE to advance the display to
the ENTER TRANSFER FEATURE CODE menu ( Figure 2-18 ).

2. Using the DIAL PAD KEYS , enter the Transfer Feature number from the table, in a valid range
between 000 and 127, as represented by “nnn” in the display and press STORE . If you make a
mistake during the entry process, use DELETE to erase the last digit entered. This works like a
“backspace” function.
a. If the entry is valid, less than 128, the display returns to the TRANSFER FEATURE CODE
menu ( Figure 2-17 ).
b. If the entered code is greater than 127, an INVALID ENTRY menu will be displayed. Enter
the correct code, less than 128, and press STORE . The display returns to the TRANSFER
FEATURE CODE menu ( Figure 2-17 ).
3. Pressing ABORT, at any time, returns the display to the TRANSFER FEATURE CODE menu
( Figure 2-17 ).
4. If no change is required, or after a change is completed, press SCROLL to advance to the
DROP FEATURE CODE menu (see Paragraph 2-5.8.3 ).
5. Press BACK to return the display to the NETWORK SETTINGS menu ( Figure 2-7 ).
2-5.8.3 Set DROP FEATURE CODE
The DROP FEATURE CODE menu ( Figure 2-19 ) shows the setting used to match the STE to the switch
for drop call capabilities. The default setting is “062”. The drop feature is used with conference calls.
