IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using the Food Processor, basic safety precautions should always be followed:
Always operate your KYOWA Food Processor from a power source of the same
voltage and frequency rating as indicated on the rating label.
Do not place the unit on uneven surfaces. Place upon a flat area surface and far
from the edge of counter top.
Do not use Food Processor in damp or wet area. Keep dry the motor unit of the
Food Processor.
Do not operate the Food Processor if any part of it including its power supply cord
has been damaged. Return the appliance to the nearest authorized service facility
for repair.
Do not operate or place any part of your KYOWA Food Processor on or near any
hot surface such as a gas or electric burner, hotplate or heated oven.
Do not use or replace accessories other than the ones originally provided.
Always secure Food Processor container and motor into place before operating the
unit.
Always ensure that the cover is tightly closed while the Food Processor is in
operation.
While operating, hold to support Food Processor body to avoid any untoward
incidents.
Use a spatula to push or mix foods to be processed inside the Food Processor.
Never use your finger to remove food from the Food Processor.
Always remove blade from the Food Processor before scooping out food from the
container.
Do not overload Food Processor by putting too much food on the container
exceeding the line indicated on the Food Processor container.
Food Processor must not be used exceeding 1 minute at stretch. Allow Food
Processor to rest for about a minute before operating again.
Wait until the Food Processor has completely stopped processing before removing
cover from the Bowl.
Switch OFF and unplug the Food Processor outlet before emptying, when not in
use or before cleaning.
Hold plug when unplugging from socket. Do not unplug by pulling the supply cord.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not immerse or expose the Food Processor
to rain, moisture or any liquid.
Keep out of reach from children or from persons with mental or physical
disabilities.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance
by a person responsible for their safety.
This KYOWA Food Processor is intended for normal domestic/household use only.
This unit is not suitable for commercial use.
HOW TO USE
CHOPPING BLADE
1.
Position Driver on the Motor Base.
2.
Put Bowl over the Driver; turn clockwise until the bowl is firmly locked
in place.
3.
Place Blade Adaptor on the Driver.
4.
Place Chopping Blade on the Blade Adaptor.
5.
Put the food to be processed on the bowl.
6.
Pre-slice onions and other rounded hard fruits and vegetables into
quarters before loading into the bowl.
7.
Place Cover into the bowl; rotate clockwise until the cover is firmly
locked in place otherwise, the unit will not operate.
8.
Select the required speed for the food that you are processing or turn
and hold to Pulse setting for controlled cycle operation.
9.
Chopping size and texture depends on how long you process food. If
you want coarse texture, process for at least 5 seconds; 10 seconds
and up if you want finer food texture.
SLICING AND SHREDDING BLADES
1.
Position Driver on the Motor Base.
2.
Put Food Bowl over the Driver; turn clockwise until the bowl is firmly
locked in place.
3.
Attach required blade into the Blade Holder.
4.
Fix blade and blade holder assembly into the Driver.
5.
Place Cover into the bowl; rotate clockwise until the cover is firmly
locked in place otherwise, the unit will not operate.
6.
Select the required speed for the food that you are processing or turn
and hold to Pulse setting for controlled cycle operation.
7.
Insert food to be sliced or shred into the food chute.
8.
Push food into the blades by using the plunger.
DRY MILL
Put ingredients to be processed in the dry mill cup.
Attach dry mill blade assembly into the cup then turn clockwise until it is
locked in place.
Place dry mill assembly on the motor base.
Select required speed for the food you are going to process.
