7. 2 How to Replace Battery

DANGER
Never open the Battery Compartment Cover while making a measurement.
#
WARNING
To avoid possible electric shock, remove test leads before opening the Battery
Compartment Cover. After replacing battery, be sure to tighten up the screw
for Battery Compartment Cover.

CAUTION
Install a battery in correct polarity as marked inside.

Remove the Power Cord from the instrument.
②
Set the Range Switch to OFF position, and remove the Test Leads
from the instrument.
③
Remove the Battery Compartment Cover-fixing screws, and slide the
Cover upwards to remove it.

Attention should be paid not to lose
screws.
