Never take the appliance into operation when

• Protect the power cable from damage; never
pull on the power cable. Take hold of the mains
adapter when you pull it from the plug socket.
Keep the cable and the clipper away from hot
surfaces. Regularly check the power cable for
damage. The insulation may not be damaged
or crushed. Never wind the cable around the
clipper.
• Repairs may only be carried out by authorised
customer services to prevent any risks.
• The clipper‘s power cable must be replaced
by the manufacturer or its customer services or
similarly qualified persons when it has become
damaged to prevent risks.
• Do not expose the clipper to extreme tempe-
ratures for extended periods of time (below 0°C
/ over 40°C).
• Do not touch the blade when the hair clipper
is switched on.
• Disconnect the hair clipper from the mains
before cleaning it.
• Only attach or remove the supplied comb
attachments when the clipper is switched off.
The use of comb attachments other than those
supplied may impair the clipper‘s functioning
or even damage it.
• Only use the appropriate KYONE charging
station to charge the hair clipper.
Disposal
The electrical appliance must be
handed over to the local public
disposal facilities for disposal if it is
no longer to be used. Such disposal
facilities usually operate special acceptance
points for electrical appliances (recycling yards,
reusable-materials yards, etc.).
