Pull the LSU drive unit (

) to the center of the main
unit and pull out the LSU cleaning motor wire (

)
through the hole (

) on the left frame of the main
unit.
Note:
The LSU drive unit (
s
) cannot be take out since
the FFC is connected at this procedure.

Release 4 hooks (
x
) of COVER DUCT LEFT (
w
) at
the rear side of the main unit (LSU cleaning motor
side) in the order of 1 to 4 in the figureCOVER and
detach COVER DUCT LEFT (
w
).

Disconnect the FFC terminal (

) from the FFC
connector on the drum relay PWB (
y
).

Detach COVER DUCT LEFT(
w
) of the new LSU
drive unit (
s
) (35/35ppm printer/MFP: No4, 40ppm
printer: No5) at the rear side of the main unit (LSU
cleaning motor side) (Refer to Procedure 7)
