Connections

Turn Mobile Hotspot on or off

Use the settings menu to enable or disable your phone’s Mobile Hotspot capabilities.

IMPORTANT:

There may be charges for using Mobile Hotspot depending on your contract or
plan. Contact your service provider for details.

From the Mobile Hotspot & tethering screen, tap

Mobile Hotspot

Tap the on/off icon next to

Use Wi-Fi hotspot

to turn it on or off.

If necessary, change the name, password, or security type.

USB tethering

You can tether your phone to your computer with a USB cable and share your phone’s Internet
connection with your computer via USB.

Connect your phone to your computer via a USB cable.

A message will appear on the phone's screen asking you to allow access to your files.
Tap a link labeled

Other USB options

A list of USB options will appear. Select

USB tethering

The phone will launch the

Mobile Hotspot & tethering

settings menu. Tap the on/off

icon next to

USB tethering

to turn it on.

NOTE:

Use of this service requires a subscription. Refer to the My Verizon website or contact

Verizon Wireless to add the appropriate add-on.

Bluetooth tethering

You can share your phone's Internet connection with Bluetooth devices via Bluetooth.

From the Mobile Hotspot & tethering screen, tap the on/off icon next to

Bluetooth

tethering

to turn it on.

Pair your phone with a Bluetooth device. If they are already paired, establish their
connection.
