1. LEFT / RIGHT INPUT
Plug in your input signal here. This jack receives line-level signals through ¼” cables and XLR cables.
2. LEFT / RIGHT HIGH PASS OUTPUT
Take the signal from this jack and plug it into an input of another powered Kustom speaker. This XLR jack outputs a
line-level balanced signal without the low frequencies already produced by the KPX18A subwoofer.
3. LEFT / RIGHT THRU OUT
Take the signal from this jack and plug it into another KPX18A or another Kustom powered speaker. This XLR jack
outputs the same signal you plug into the LEFT / RIGHT INPUT jack.
4. IN-PHASE / INVERTED
Use this switch to flip the phase of the speaker output 180°. In general, keep this switch in the “In-Phase” position, but if
other speakers are out of phase with the KPX18A, flip the switch.
5. SUB VOLUME
Adjust this knob to get the proper mix between your full-range speakers and the KPX18A. It is common for this control to
be set between ½ and full when using with a Kustom PA speaker.
6. POWER
Flip this switch to turn on your KPX18A.
7. AC POWER CORD RECEPTACLE & FUSE HOLDER
Insert the KPX18A power cord firmly into the AC power cord receptacle. Be sure to use the cable provided with your
KPX18A. The power cord can be removed for storage or replacement if damaged. Note: Replace the AC cord if its
protective jacket is damaged or if its ground pin is damaged or removed.
