INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Locate module in a suitable location, preferably not under the hood, protected from
the environment and away from any sources of heat.
2. Connect pin 1 to +12 volts through a 1 ampere fuse supplied.
3. Connect pin 2 to a solid ground in the vehicle.
4. Pin 3 is connected to the vehicle ignition switch, STA, (Red/Lt Blu) or other suitable
location.
5. Test installation:
A. By placing the shift lever in PARK and checking that pin 4 shows
continuity to ground.
B. Place shift lever in REVERSE and note that there is no continuity
to ground on pin4.
C. Place shift lever in NEUTRAL and note pin 4 continuity to ground
D. Place shift lever in DRIVE and note NO continuity from pin 4 to ground
6. This completes the installation. Connect pin 4 to the required Neutral Safety
switch pin on the High Idle System.
