Working with the HR 600/2 unit
6.5.1.6 Firmware update
The following operations must be performed by trained, qualified staff only. You
must be logged in as an administrator. Firmware is the control software of the elec-
tronic assemblies in the Rework System.

Determining the firmware version
a) Click on [Updates HR600] in the [Firmware] menu area.
ð The [Update firmware] dialog is displayed:

This function will update the firmware of the connected HR system.

The [Current firmware] is displayed in the upper part of the window. The current
firmware version is also displayed in the [System info] parameter window. With re-
spect to this, please read Chapter The parameter window [System info] [
} 83].
Performing a firmware update
ü To perform a firmware update:
a) In the display field [Select update file (*.hex):], click on the icon of the file
folder.
ð A window is opened.
b) Search for the update file. The file must be available in the file format [.hex].
c) Click on update file.
d) Click on the [Open] button.
