For Your Safety
Check all components before use. A damaged device must not be used any longer. Have
any damaged parts repaired by a specialist or the manufacturer. Always use genuine Ersa
spare parts for any repairs.
Restrict unauthorized access. Make sure that no unauthorized person, in particular chil

dren, can get near the device.
Furthermore follow the safety instructions referring to devices and substances used in
connection with the DTM 100 like e.g. of the soldering station, the soldering tip or the
soldering wire.
Comply with national and international regulations governing health and safety at work.

Transport, Storage and Disposal
4.1
Transport and Storage
For transportation and storage of the DTM 100 always use the included carrying case.
Ensure that the device is only stored in a dry environment.
4.2
Disposal
Disposal Notice in accordance with directive 2002/96/EC of the European
Parliament and the council of January 27, 2003 on Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment (WEEE).
Products labelled with the symbol of the crossed out wheeled bin must
not be disposed of with unsorted municipal waste. For this purpose, the
local authorities have set up collecting points. Please ask your municipal

ity which possibilities are offered for the separate collection of WEEE.
This way, you make your contribution to the reuse or other forms of use
of WEEE to protect our environment and health.
