Unscrew the captive screw of the battery
compartment cover and disconnect the
battery compartment cover from the unit.
Remove the 9 V block battery from the
battery compartment and replace it with
a new 9 V block battery. Reassemble in
reverse order.
You don't have to open the device for test tip
replacement.
Carefully hold the test tip with a flat-nose
pliers without rippling and turn it by 90° and
then pull it off forwards.
Insert the new probe tip and gently rotate it
with the flat-nose pliers for 90° so that the
bayonet catch snaps into place.
